Three midlife women sharing coffee and conversation
About This Site

Built by a woman in it, not one who got out.

Top Women’s Wellness exists because the information midlife women deserve has been scattered, watered down, or missing entirely. We built this site to fix that.

We cover perimenopause, menopause, caregiver burnout, hormones, sleep, and the invisible weight of holding everyone else together while your own body rewrites itself.

No fluff. No pretending a positive attitude is a treatment plan. Just honest, evidence-based information delivered by women who are living this alongside you.

I do not write about caregiving and burnout from a distance. I write from the middle of it.

By the time I was twenty-three, I had raised seven children while also caring for my mother and my grandmother, who had gone blind from diabetes and hypertension. My father died when I was six. There was no one else to step in. I became the responsible one not by choice, but by necessity.

I survived an abusive marriage, divorced, remarried, and then was widowed. I spent six years in pure survival mode before I finally decided to reclaim my own life. For over a decade I worked in operations and portfolio management until I was laid off without warning at the end of 2024. Today, I am a full-time caregiver for my mother, who suffered a major stroke that took her speech and her mobility. She also lives with dementia.

I know what it feels like to be the one who holds everything together while wondering if anyone notices that you are disappearing. That is why this site exists.

My academic training in human behavior and organizational leadership is woven into every piece of content published here. I am not writing from a place of having arrived. I am writing from the middle of the climb, which is exactly why it lands.

I am currently completing my book, RECLAIM: The Sandwich Generation Woman’s Blueprint to Set Boundaries, Stop Caregiver Burnout, and Feel Like Herself Again.

Our Mission

Why we built this

Because too many women sit across from a provider and hear “that’s just aging” when what they are describing is a diagnosable, treatable shift in their hormonal health.

Because the woman managing her mother’s medications, her teenager’s crisis, and her own crumbling sleep schedule does not have three hours to piece together reliable information from fourteen different websites.

“Self-care” has been reduced to candles and baths. What midlife women actually need is someone to say, out loud, that this stage is real, it is hard, and you are not losing your mind.

Top Women’s Wellness was built for the woman who is holding everything together while her own body rewrites itself from the inside. She needs honest, evidence-based information delivered without condescension, without fluff, and without pretending that a positive attitude is a treatment plan.

What We Believe

The things we will not soften

Your symptoms are real

The brain fog. The rage that shows up sideways. The 3 a.m. wake-ups where your heart is pounding. None of that is in your head. All of it has a biological basis and deserves to be taken seriously.

Information should be honest

If perimenopause can last 7 to 14 years, we are going to say that. If a supplement has limited evidence, we say that too. You deserve the full picture, not the polite version.

Rest is not a reward

It is a biological necessity that midlife women have been guilted out of for decades. We help you understand what your body is actually asking for so you can make informed decisions about how to respond.

You are not the problem

The systems that dismissed you are the problem. The cultural expectation that you manage everything without complaint is the problem. You, showing up here looking for answers, are doing exactly the right thing.

Who This Is For

You belong here if…

You Google your perimenopause or menopause symptoms at midnight because you do not trust that your doctor took them seriously.

You are a sandwich-generation caregiver managing everyone’s health except your own and cannot remember the last time someone asked how you were doing and actually waited for the answer.

You have been the strong one for so long that admitting you are struggling feels like a betrayal of everyone who depends on you.

You are done being handed pamphlets when what you need is the truth.

How We Work

Our editorial standards

Cited researchWe link to peer-reviewed studies and recognized medical organizations, including NAMS, ACOG, and major health systems, before we publish.

Full transparencyWe clearly label opinion, lived experience, and product recommendations. When we use affiliate links, we disclose them. We are not a replacement for medical care.

Regular updatesWe review older articles and update them when guidelines change. Recency matters here. Stale health information does real harm.

If any of that sounded like your life, you are exactly who we write for. Every week, we send one email with real information, no fluff, no guilt trips, just the kind of honest support you can actually use. It is called The Midlife Exhale, and it was built for women who are done being told to push through.
